Albert "Jr" Helton

Albert “JR” Helton, age 73 of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.   Mr. Helton was born January 3, 1941 in White County to the late Albert Richard Helton Sr. and Ola Gooch Helton. JR was the owner of Insulaire Inc. and was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church # 1.   Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Rachel Helton, Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Stacy Helton; Jeff and Amy Helton, all of Gainesville; sisters, Janette Ashe, Cleveland; Geneva Wright, Forest Park; grandchildren, Alissa Helton, Clermont; Geoffrey Ledford, Cooper Helton, Sara Rachel Helton, all of Gainesville; great grandchildren, Kinleigh Ledford, Colt Ledford, both of Gainesville; his favorite pet, Angel.   Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, April 21, 2014 at Dewberry Baptist Church # 1.The Rev. Henry Loggins, the Rev. Brad Reynolds and the Rev. J.D. Sosebee Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Dewberry Baptist Church # 1 Kitchen Fund, 4616 Clarks Bridge Rd.
