Alice Phillips

Alice Rhoda Teems Phillips, age 89, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Mrs. Phillips was born on November 10, 1936, in Commerce, Georgia, to the late Lee and Della Metcalfe Teems. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Grady Phillips; daughters, Barbara Blair and Judy Phillips.

Survivors include her son, Grady Michael Phillips and Sandra; son and daughter-in-law, Derwin and Amy Phillips; grandchildren, Shane and Kelli Phillips, Zack and Taylor Thayer, Stetson Thayer, Palmer Thayer, and Reese Thayer, Madison Phillips, John Peyton Phillips, CP and Tiffany Payne, Alex Payne, CJ Payne, Greysen Payne, Camille Payne, Misty Conner and family, Chad Johnson and family, and Tammy Gazaway and family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 8, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Pirkle will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service.
