Alice Mabel Watkins

Alice Mabel Watkins, age 78, of Murrayville, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.

Mrs. Watkins was born on May 15, 1942, in Hall County, to the late Norman and Katie Mae Southers Bell.  She was a homemaker and had a degree in reflexology.  Alice was preceded in death by her siblings, Junior Bell, Frances Ayers, and Gloria Sorrells.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Watkins, Murrayville; daughter, Stephanie London (Johnny), Murrayville; son, Dallas David Watkins, Murrayville; grandson, D.J. Painter Watkins; sisters, Shirley “Marlene” Gable and Marie McCallister, both of Dahlonega; brother, Doug Bell, Dahlonega; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 26, 2021 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Timothy Gerrin, the Rev. Bill Trotter, and the Rev. Amy Reems will officiate.  Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. Friday, prior to the funeral service.
