Allen Burdette Denson

Allen Burdette Denson, age 62 of Mt. Airy, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Denson was born August 24, 1948 in Faulkville, AL to the late Roy and Dona Ruth Johnson Denson. He was a mechanic for Habersham County. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Denson, Mt. Airy; sons, David Ray Denson, Mt. Airy; Allen Henry Denson, Wauchula, FL; daughter, Denise Denson, Mt. Airy; brother, Billy Denson, Decatur, AL; sister, Brenda Brack, Hartsville, AL; and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. David Nix will officiate. Interment will follow in Clarkesville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
