Alma Bailey

Mrs. Alma Bailey age 87 of Gainesville formerly of Cleveland passed away at her residence on Sunday October 18, 2009 following an extended illness. Mrs. Bailey was born in Bogalusa Louisiana the daughter of the late Adam and Katherine Unterhiner Dindinger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ed Bailey, son, Richard Vernon Scarbrough and step son, Dan Bailey. She was a retired Realtor and member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Survivors include daughters and sons in law, Kathy and Kelly Moore, Gainesville, Marie and Ted Ratliff, Cullman, AL., Gloria and Bob Jones, Gainesville; step sons and daughters in law, Michael and Lorraine Bailey, St. Augustine, FL., Jack and Sandra Bailey, Mansfield; grandchildren, Patrick Moore, Nashville, TN., Lauren Moore, Gainesville, Melissa and Keith Moore, Bentonville, AR., Jennifer and Clayton Rhoads, Cumming, Kim Jones, Gainesville, Ricky and Pat Scarbrough, Rebecca and Russell Davis, Houston, TX; 9 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday October 20, 2009 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dave Wesche will officiate. Burial will be in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
