Alma Pilgrim

Alma Pilgrim, age 96, of Cleveland passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016. Mrs. Pilgrim was born December 24, 1919 in Banks County to the late Gordon Wade Sr. and Mae Thomas Wade. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Interdenominational Church. Mrs. Pilgrim was preceded in death by her husband, John Pilgrim, daughter, Melba Smith, sons, Ed Pilgrim and Leon Pilgrim. Survivors include her daughters, Queenoula Daniel, Cornelia; Charlene Ivester, Clarkesville; Elizabeth Allen, Gainesville; sons, Terry Pilgrim, Tony Pilgrim, Jerry Pilgrim, all of Cleveland; son-in-law, Clarence Smith, Cleveland; 19 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Zion Interdenominational Church. The Rev. Gary Heffner, the Rev. Tony Evans, and the Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Saturday and again on Sunday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
