Amanda Darlene King

Amanda Darlene King, age 36 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 following injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Ms. King was born December 28, 1974 in Anniston, AL to Shirley Crim Weaver and the late Emmett King. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Samantha King, brother, Lamar King. Survivors include her daughters, Britney King, Gainesville; Tasha Gyer, Alabama; son, Jacob Pointer, Ochatee, AL; mother, Shirley Weaver, Cleveland; sisters, Cathy King, Cleveland; Tyla Lunsford, Jasper; brother, Scotty King; Cleveland; Fiancé, David Rogers, Cleveland; step-mother, Delores King, Gainesville; and 1 grandchild. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Lunsford and the Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow in Skitts Mountain Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
