Angus Armstrong Mclellan

Angus Armstrong McLellan, age 79, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Gainesville, GA following complications from an extended illness.   Mr. McLellan was preceded in death by his Father, Howard McLellan, Mother, Florence McLellan, Siblings, Bill, Alvin, Isabelle, Cecil and Douglass. He has one surviving brother Robert McLellan, sister in law Betty and sister in law, Frances (Bill). He is survived by his children, Wolfgang “Butch” McLellan and daughter in law Faye, Lenora “Lennie” McLellan Lawrence, Kerri Crane and son in law Chris and loving step children Cathy Montpas and Paul, Stevi Botha, and Randi Campo many grandchildren and great grandchildren.   He was born in Pensacola, FL June 25, 1938, and raised in Savannah, GA. He moved to Tampa, FL and lived there for many years before relocating to Cleveland, GA in 1988. Mr. McLellan was a devoted father, grandfather and brother. He was loved and will be missed by many. He spent his life caring for others selflessly. He served in the Military in younger years. He retired from Allied Systems out of Atlanta after more than 25 years of service.   Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday October 17, 2017 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.   The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.   Online condolences may be made to the family at barrettfh.com.   Barrett Funeral Home, Cleveland.
