Ann F. Jordan, 96, (formerly of Gadsden, AL) passed away Monday, December 22 in Opelika, AL. She was born Sept. 1, 1918 in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. She, along with her twin brother Ken, were the youngest of six children. Her father, John Sharp was commanding officer of the Citadel in Nova Scotia. For 30 years she served as a nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital. In 2002 Mrs. Jordan moved to Atlanta, GA. A dedicated Christian, attending the Seventh Day Adventist Church, she spent her life caring about others. She loved bowling, swimming, gardening and watching the Braves. She was preceded in death by her son, Dr. R. David Jordan and is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth J. Greene, son in law Harrell L. Greene, Jr.; granddaughters Pamela R. Mashburn and Lee Jordan; grandsons James D. Rosser, Jr., and Ken S. Jordan. Mrs. Jordan also has five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held January 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Barrett Funeral Home in Cleveland, GA. with burial at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
