Anna Lois Howard

Anna Lois “Nana” Howard, age 79 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Howard was born September 20, 1931 in Cleveland to the late Henry Garland and Kate Hill Staton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Howard, brothers, Ralph Staton, William Staton, granddaughter, Leslie Shea Autry. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Tommy Cole, Bessemer, AL; Cindy and Howard Stoddard, Cleveland; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha and Kennith Holden, Cleveland; Alice and John Lecroy, Greenwood, SC; brother and sister-in-law, J.T. and Sylvia Staton, Dahlonega; brother, Eugene Staton, Cleveland; brother-in-law, Bob Howard, Cleveland; sister-in-law, Reba Staton, Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Deana Cox, Gulfport, MS; David Usher, Corey Autry, Anna McDonald, all of Cleveland; Janet Kutsch, Dennis Cole, Janine Stoddard, Howard Stoddard Jr., Jayson Stoddard; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and many other very special adopted family members. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, January 17, 2011 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Israel Cox will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park.
