Anna Gurtrude Keating

Anna Gertrude Keating, age 93 of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Keating was born on April 27, 1921, in Gadsden, Alabama, to the late Socrates Maupin and Georgia Louise Tipton Maupin. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church. Mrs. Keating was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Albert Keating. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, E. Carey and Drucilla Keating, Memphis, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Dr. Roy Hardy, Cleveland, GA, and Susan and Dr. David Phillips, Monroe, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and George Crews, Memphis, TN; sister, Virginia Pruitt, Memphis, TN; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Dr. David Phillips will officiate. Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
