Anna Helen Fields Morgan

Anna Helen Fields Morgan, age 92, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Mrs. Morgan was born on May 10, 1929, to the late Edward and Helen Kindt Schmidt in Alpena, MI. She moved to Cleveland in 1985, after the death of her husband, Jim Morgan. Mrs. Morgan is also preceded in death by her brothers Harold and Walter Schmidt and sisters Esther Schmidt Krueger and Tresa Schmidt Neumann. She is survived by her daughter, Raye Counter (George), of Cleveland; son, Brian Fields (Lynne), of San Francisco, CA; sister, Ruth Schmidt, of Wyandotte, MI; grandchildren, Colby Counter (Kim) of Cumming, GA and Jacob Counter (Caroline) of Marietta, GA; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Counter (Christina), Grace Counter, Ella Counter, and Whitney Counter; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Morgan was a beloved mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, tending to her flowers and plants, bird watching, and reading and studying God’s word. She was raised in the Lutheran Church. All friends and family of Anna Morgan are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 2:00pm at First Presbyterian Church of Cleveland.
