Annette Underwood

Mrs. Annette Underwood, age 82 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Gateway Health & Rehab. Mrs. Underwood was born in Cleveland, Georgia on November 15, 1927 to the late Henry H. and Julia Allison Ledford. She was a homemaker and a member of Loudsville United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gibbs Underwood and sisters, Wilma Barrett, Lois Abernathy & Kate Howard. Survivors include daughter, Laura Allen, Cleveland; daughter & son in law, Jana & Bobby Pope, Chapin, SC; grandchildren, Chelsea Allen, Cleveland, Robert Pope, Tyler Pope and Alison Pope, all of Chapin, SC; great grandson, Matthew Feltman, Cleveland; sister, Henrietta Herrin, Cornelia. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Loudsville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Louise Elmore will officiate. Burial will follow in Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Loudsville United Methodist Church or Loudsville United Methodist Campground.
