Annie Grace Davenport

Mrs. Annie Grace Davenport, age 82, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026. Mrs. Davenport was born in Gainesville to the late John Henry and Mary Etter Harkins Sears. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Benny Sears, John A. Sears, Grady Sears, Euell Sears, Roy Sears, Ruby Bryan, Barbara Thomas, Eunice Sutton, and Bernice Gooch.

Mrs. Davenport worked at Talon during her career and was a homemaker. She also enjoyed doing crafts, was a beautician, owned and operated a salon and took care of the elderly.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Jimmy Davenport; daughter and son-in-law, Lorie and Earl Sams; son and fiancé, Randall Davenport (Barbara Adams); grandchildren, Cody Sams (Hope Leahey), Madison Sams, Lacey King (Eric), Kelly Acevedo (Chris), Randi Bishop (Rusty), and Haley Brown (Nate); great-grandchildren, Emma Sams, Lily Sams, Silas King, Elijah King, Levi Acevedo, Aaron Acevedo, Shiloh Acevedo, Sadie Bishop, and Bindi Bishop.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Dave Fortner and Mr. Randall Davenport will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-2 P.M., at the funeral home, prior to the service.
