Anthony Mark "Tony" Brown

Mr. Anthony “Tony” Mark Brown, age 70, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025. Mr. Brown was born in White County to the late Julius and Jo Carroll Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Brown. Mr. Brown served in law enforcement for over 25 years and was the former city of Cleveland Police Chief. He was a member of Amy’s Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include wife, Tammy Brown; son, Matthew Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Hanna and Patrick Day; grandchildren, Lucelia Day and Aurelia Day; brother, Charles Alton Brown; sister-in-law, Anne Tollison; stepdaughter, Amanda Edmondson; step-grandchildren, Logan Brown, Kirstyn Brown, Jayce Day and Emalynn Day; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, June 26, 2025. Rev. Charles Buice and Rev. Spencer Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park.
