Arvil J.D. Kinsey

Mr. Arvil J.D. Kinsey, age 63 of Clarkesville, formally of Cleveland died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 following injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Mr. Kinsey was born in White county on May 13, 1946 to the late Loyd Stanley and Flora Nelms Kinsey. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Mary Fortenberry, Geneva Dorsey and Dorothy Nelms. Mr. Kinsey was a logger and attended Mt. Vernon Fire Baptized Church. Survivors include his wife: Janette Kinsey, Clarkesville; daughters and sons-in-law: Cindy & Kenneth Churchwell, Clarkesville and Darlene Kinsey and Chris Wade, Baldwin; Grandchildren, Rose Marie Wright, Royston, Tasha Ansley, Clarkesville, Valerie Churchwell, Oglethorpe, Josh Churchwell, Clarkesville, Kimberly Churchwell Turnerville and R.D. Wade, Alto; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, July 3, 2009 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Rev. Lester Haynes, Rev. Garvis Kinsey and Rev. Bill Free officiating. Burial to follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
