Baby Joseph Dylan Nix

Joseph Dylan Nix, infant son of Chelsea Jarrard and Joe Nix of Lula, passed away Thursday September 10, 2009 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Survivors other than the parents are maternal grandparents: Jamie and Stephanie Jarrard of Cleveland; paternal grandparents: Randy and Brenda Porterfield of Lula; paternal grandfather: Joey Nix of Lula; maternal great grandmother: Vivian Jarrard of Cleveland; paternal great grandmother: Iva Lee Pilgram of Cleveland; maternal great-great grandmother: Eula Roberts of Cleveland; paternal great grandfather: Amos Edward of Cleveland; paternal great grandparents: Eugene and Margaret Sullens of Lula; and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather Ralph Jarrard. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Sunday September 13, 2009 from the Barrett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jason Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12-2 P.M. at the funeral home.
