Barbara Chastain Postell

Barbara Chastain Postell, age 80, of Cleveland, passed away on Saturday August 24, 2024. Mrs. Postell was born on October 13, 1943, in Hiawassee, Georgia, to the late Frank and Bular Nicholson Chastain. She worked as an inspector at Talon. Survivors include her husband, Perry “Doug” Postell; daughters, Debbie Kennedy and Kim Wilson; grandchildren, Danielle Meeks, Brooke Bird, Jennifer Dalton, Darline Rodriguez, and Michael Wilson; sister, Diane Manus; 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Preston Whisnant will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
