Bernice Crane Forziati

Bernice Crane Forziati, age 84 of Dahlonega, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. Forziati was born December 24, 1929 in Madison County to the late Charles Frank Holcomb and Willie Nora Burroughs Holcomb. She was a former Principal for Hall County School System and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Forziati was preceded in death by husbands Calvin Crane and Al Forziati, 6 brothers and 5 Sisters. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Betty Crane, Aiken, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Chili Childers, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Madison J. Crane, Jason K. Crane, both of Aiken, SC; Rebecca Martin, Dahlonega; Chuck Allen, Lula; Miles Childers, Jasper; Nick Childers, Cleveland; Larami Oliver, Dahlonega; sister, Betty Helton, Cleveland; 12 great grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Phillip Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
