Bessie Wilson

Bessie Wilson, age 93 of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Friendship Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Wilson was born on June 11, 1922, in Cleveland, GA, to the late McCager Clark Dyer and Ruthie Hix Dyer. She worked in Housekeeping at Helen Dorf Inn and was a member of Wahoo Baptist Church. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Wilson and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her nephews, Billy Shuler and significant other, Ellen Brackett, Cleveland; Junior Shuler and his wife, Becky, Gainesville; niece, Betty Sharp, Cleveland; 4 great nephews and 4 great nieces. Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon, Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow at Nacoochee United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
