Betty Humphries Boggs

Betty Humphries Boggs, age 91 of Cleveland passed away Thursday October 8, 2020. Mrs. Boggs was born January 7th, 1929 in Cumberland, Kentucky to the late Henry A. Humphries and Mollie Carpenter Humphries. She was a homemaker and member of New Bridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Boggs is preceded in death by her husband Hubert Boggs, and brother Dr. Raymond A. Humphries. She is survived by her son, Hubert Jr. (Bubby) and Donna Boggs of Berea KY; daughters, Patsy Boggs Funk, Mary and Rick Bishop, Kathy and Carl Couch, all of Cleveland; sisters, Geraldine H. Rodda and Shelia Blalock, as well as 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, and 10 step great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2PM Sunday, October 11th, 2020 at New Bridge Baptist Church. The Rev. Mike Irvin, Rev. W.A Jenkins, Rev. John Graham and Rev. Ryan Roach will officiate. Interment will follow at New Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7PM Saturday October 10th, 2020 at Barrett Funeral Home.
