Betty Floyd

Betty Greer Floyd, age 85 of Clermont, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015. Mrs. Floyd was born December 22, 1929 in McDonough, GA to the late Jesse and Juliette Payne Greer. She was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Floyd and son, Michael Floyd. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Smith, Clermont; grandchildren, Adam Smith, Cumming; Kelly Smith, Clermont; Amanda and Rick Lingerfelt, Cumming; great grandchildren, Truitt Lingerfelt, Michaela Lingerfelt, Parker Ventura; sister, Joann Thrasher, Norcross; daughter-in-law, Anne Trent; best friend, Emma Winfrey. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, November 16, 2015 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Dr. Joe Vernon and the Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate.
