Betty Jo Gerrells

Betty Jo Gerrells, age 77, of Cleveland, passed away on August 8, 2026.

Mrs. Gerrells was born on March 16,1949, in Cleburne, Alabama, to the late Joel and Nettie Allen Medley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Herman Kanady and Claude Gerrells.

Survivors include her stepsons, Mark and J.C. Gerrells, niece, Frances Gilstrap, nephew, L.J. Dispain and caregiver, Judy Lewis.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M, Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dennis Taylor and Rev. Kenneth Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
