Betty Jean Lewis Meaders

Betty Jean Lewis Meaders, age 87, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020. Mrs. Meaders was born in Cleveland to the late Steve and Neila Skelton Lewis.  In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Lanier Meaders; brother, Wallace Lewis; and sister, Gaynell Pittman. Mrs. Meaders worked in Customer service for Regions Bank and was a member of White Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Donna and Ronald James, Vivian and Robert Maney, Wayne and Diane Pittman, and Gary and Judy Richardson; nephew, Dennis Richardson; sister-in-law, Nell Lewis; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 P.M. Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Lewis Fortner will officiate.  Interment will follow at White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday, January 20, 2020 and from 1-3 P.M.
