Betty Jean Strickland

Betty Jean Strickland, age 73, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Mrs. Strickland was born on June 10, 1950, in Ocilla, Georgia, to Louise Scott Walker and the late Lester Walker. She was a homemaker and member at Harvest Time Worship Center. Betty Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Strickland; daughter, Tina Mulligan; father, Lester Walker; stepfather, John Woods; sisters, Dorothy Maring and Kathy Ray; brothers, James Walker and Carroll Walker. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Donald Padgett, and Stacie and David Goodman; son, and daughter-in-law, Mike and Debbie Mulligan; mother, Louise Woods; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Robert Highsmith; sister, Karlene Kroger; stepsister, Brenda Westmoreland; stepbrothers, Jackie Woods and Ervin Woods; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 14, 2024, at Harvest Time Worship Center. The Rev. Sammy Reed and the Rev. Timothy Gerrin will officiate.
