Beulah Louvenia Stephens

Mrs. Beulah Louvenia Stephens, age 73 of Cleveland passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at her residence following a sudden illness. Born in Smyth County, Virginia on June 01, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Mary Francis Teaster Sheets. Mrs. Stephens was a resident of White County for many years, a retired sales clerk from the Hansel & Gretel Candy Shop in Helen, and a member of the Helen First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, Amos Sheets, Jr., and great-granddaughter, Jacklyn Ledford. Survivors include her sons, Michael Pat Harden, Marion, VA; James Preston Smith, Indiana; daughters and son-in-laws, Mary Ruth and Rudy Hardy, Sautee; Dora Carolyn and Clarence Webb, Clarkesville; Judy Louise Moretz and Joseph Bergeron, Jr., Helen; grandchildren, Dora Havlen, Mary Ledford, Shawn Bergeron, Jessica McKee, Mitchell Baker, Michael Baker, Beulah Stephens, Billy Berryhill, Stephen McGraw, Ricky Chambers, sister, Hazel Stephens, Lenore, NC; brothers, Tracy Sheets, Gastonia, NC; Jack Sheets, Granite Falls, NC; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2007 from the Helen First Baptist Church. The Rev. Jim Holmes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Yonah View Memorial Gardens in Cleveland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday.
