Beverly Sue Pruitt

Beverly Sue Pruitt, age 69, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Mrs. Pruitt was born on November 8, 1954, in Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Jack Benson Gilstrap and Mary Stringer Gilstrap. She retired from the Georgia Department of Health. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Robbie Pruitt; brother, Jackie Gilstrap; sister, Nancy Savage. Survivors include her husband, Mitchell Pruitt, Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Richard Storer, Lula, and Jill and Jeremiah Sieveking, Hiawassee; grandchildren, Thomas and Ashley Gerrell, Margaret Gerrell, Stella and Tyler Lindsey, and Wyatt Sieveking; great-grandchildren, Rob, Mila, Shoals, Maurice, and JM; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Annette Gilstrap; sisters and brothers-in-law, Margie and Sam Holbrook, and Debbie and Ricky Pruitt; sister-in-law, Janie Gilstrap. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 22, 2024, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Wilkes and the Rev. Matt Pruitt will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
