Billy Helton

Mr. Billy E. Helton, age 82, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021. Mr. Helton was born in Lumpkin County to the late Grady Franklin and Juanita Estelle Leg Helton. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Betty Helton; brothers, Bobby Helton, and Stanley Helton. Mr. Helton was a mechanic and served his country in the US Army. He was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include sister, Shirley Jones; sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Tommy Bond; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 P.M. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Rev. Dave Fortner and Rev. Doug Merck will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
