Billy Joe Lewis

Mr. Billy Joe Lewis, age 67, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at residence following an extended illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Saturday, September 13, 2008 from Barrett Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Paul Flynn and the Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate. Interment will follow in Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. Friday, September 12, 2008 at the funeral home. Mr. Lewis was born on July 13, 1941 to the late Royal Edward Lewis and Ethel Mae Christy Lewis. He was preceded in death by his sister, Caroline Lewis, one grandchild and grandparents. Mr. Lewis was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Margie Lewis, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Eric Salzman, Cleveland; brother, Don Lewis, Cleveland; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren: 1 niece and 1 nephew.
