Billy Ray Mcconnell

Mr. Billy Ray McConnell age 53 of Gainesville passed away Sunday May 15, 2011 at his residence. Mr. McConnell was born in Toccoa Georgia and was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Eleanor McConnell and sisters, Linda Grizzle and Evelyn Mull. He was employed as a security officer with Tri County Security. Survivors include his wife, Betty Underwood McConnell, Gainesville; daughter, Amanda McConnell, NC; grandsons, Junior and Levi; step son, Daniel Meeks, Gainesville; granddaughters, Jordyn Meeks, Lilli Chapman, both of Gainesville; father, Frank Wayne McConnell, Danielsville; sisters and brothers in law, Wanda and Skipper Anderson, Ela Mae and David Burnette, all of Gainesville; sisters, Patricia Smith, Commerce, Doris Adamson, Gainesville; brother, Wayne McConnell, Danielsville. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday May 18, 2011 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Hugh Hubbard will officiate.
