Billy Ray Morgan

Mr. Billy Ray (Corndog) Morgan, age 74, of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019.  Mr. Morgan was born in Griffin, Georgia to the late Russell Eugene and Carrie Lucille Williams Morgan.  He was preceded in death by parents; wife, Lois Morgan; brothers, James Morgan, Jimmy Morgan, Jackie Morgan, Alton Morgan, Johnny Morgan; and granddaughter Brittany Berry. Mr. Morgan was a retired truck driver. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Terry Trimble, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Cherry and Kenny Gilreath, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Bert Cantrell, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Hank York, Cleveland; son, Billy Morgan, Dahlonega; 8 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 4 pm Friday, April 5, 2019 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Jimmy Wilbanks and Rev. Dennis Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3-8 pm Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the funeral home.
