Bobby Ray (Bud) Ferguson

Mr. Bobby Ray (Bud) Ferguson age 82 of Clarkesville passed away Saturday December 25, 2010 at Habersham County Medical Center. Mr. Ferguson was born in Towns County the son of the late Andrew and Rhodia Carolina Barrett Ferguson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Rhea Pearl Sosebee Ferguson, son, Darrell Ray Ferguson, brother, Wade Ferguson and sisters, Lorene Roberts and Flora Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors are daughters and sons in law, Mertice and Joe Kimsey, Helen, Patsy and Ricky Diehl, Denise and Dwayne Kastner. all of Clarkesville; grandchildren, Joy and Heath Hammond, Beth Kimsey, Lauren Ferguson, all of Cleveland, Sara Kastner, Jill Kastner, Christi and Jimmy Parton, Amos Ferguson, all of Clarkesville, Chelsey Ferguson and Tony Thompson, West Virginia; sister and brother in law, Loretta and Jr. Cantrell, brothers and sisters in law, Jay and Beulah Mae Ferguson, Helen, Henry and Kathy Ferguson, Clarkesville, Felton and Betty Ferguson, Cleveland; sister in law, Nora Lee Ferguson, Young Harris; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday December 28, 2010 at Bethel Baptist Church. The Rev. Michael Wilkes and the Rev. George Fortner will officiate. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
