Bonnie Lou Dean, age 82 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, September 07, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Dean was born December 3, 1929 in White County to the late Albert and Nannie Mae Cannon Pilgrim. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Interdenominational Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Verlon Dean, brother, Billy Pilgrim and sister, Eloise Tomlin. Survivors include her son, James Dean, Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Gary Heffner; Judy and Skip Cathey, all of Cleveland; Sharon and Ed Malcom, Clarkesville; grandchildren, Erica and Eddie Mithcell; Roger and Julianna Dean; Jason and Tonya Heffner; Jeremy and Kelly Cathey; Jeremy Malcom and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Monday, September 10, 2012 at Zion Interdenominational Church. The Rev. Eddie Mitchell, the Rev. Gary Heffner and the Rev. Paul Flynn will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to the Zion Interdenominational Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1289 Cleveland, GA 30528.
