Bonnie Sue Turner, age74 of Fayetteville formerly of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011. Ms. Turner was born October 16, 1936 in White County to the late David and Christine Bell Miller. She was a legal secretary and a member of Fayetteville Christian Church. Ms. Turner was preceded in death by her sisters, Laurene Chastain, Jeanie Hill, Arlivia Gunter, brothers, Paul Miller, Ted Miller. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Tracy Turner, Fayetteville; Christopher and Cheryl Turner, Buford; sisters, Martha Woodall, Cornelia; Mary Cannon, Sautee; brothers, Jimmy Miller, Commerce, Dickie Miller, Alto; grandchildren, Ryan Turner, Christina Turner, Alex Turner, Karissa Turner, Avery Turner, Austin Turner; and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 PM Sunday, September 18, 2011 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Andrew Higle will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society, White County Relay for Life, 2565 Thompson Bridge Rd. Gainesville, GA 30501.
