Bonnie Lee Winkler

Mrs. Bonnie Lee Ravan Winkler, age 88 of Cleveland passed away Tuesday June 1, 2010 at Gateway Health Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Winkler was born in Lumpkin County the daughter of the late Christopher and Dove Hester Ravan. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Winkler, brothers: Jewel Ravan and Gordon Ravan. Mrs. Winkler had worked at Amex Textile for 27 years. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons and daughters in law, Edward and Doris Winkler, Cleveland; Larry and Brenda Winkler, Cleveland; step-daughter: Joan Lee, Cleveland; grandchildren: Rodney Winkler, Jody Winkler, Benjie Winkler and Nathan Winkler, all of Cleveland; step-grandchildren: Kip Lee and Jamie Lee both of Cleveland and Rodney Lee of Dahlonega and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday June 3, 2010 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Aubrey McIntyre and the Rev. Jody Winkler will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 9:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
