Braxton Miller

Braxton James Miller, age 1, of Athens, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Braxton was born on August 12, 2024, in Demorest, Georgia, to Zachary and Kayla Gravitt Miller. He loved watching Leo and always had a smile on his face. Braxton was a fighter until the end and touched the lives of many people during his short time.

Proceeded death by grandfather Charles Miller.

 Survivors include his parents, Zack and Kayla Miller; brother, Noah Jace Miller; sister, Emma Grace Miller; grandparents, Teresa and William White, Dan Gravitt, and Karen Shedd, aunt and uncle Ashton and Austin Miller; a host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 9, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Brown, the Rev. Marc Turner and Michael Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home, and on Thursday from 11 until the funeral hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Go Fund Me set up to help with Braxton’s medical expenses.
