Brenda Mae Westmoreland

Brenda Mae Westmoreland, age 77 of Cleveland, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026.

Mrs. Westmoreland was born in Moultrie, GA to the late John and Frances Elizabeth Woods. Brenda formerly worked in the Cafeteria for Gainesville Middle School. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Westmoreland, daughter, Gail Flanagan and granddaughter, Hope Flanagan.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Richard Carney; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Tabitha Westmoreland; grandchildren, Preston Croy, Ivy Dover, Lily Westmoreland, Noah Westmoreland, Cody Flanagan, Emma Flanagan; great grandchildren, RJ Flanagan, Ava Flanagan, Paul Dover, Ila Dover and M.J. Ash Jr.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, July 24, 2026, at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Gateway Memory Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM Friday at the funeral prior to the funeral service.
