Buford Dyer

Buford Dyer age 102 of Cleveland passed away Thursday May 8, 2014. Mr. Dyer was born Union County the son of the late George and Ida Mae Crumley Dyer. He was preceded in death by brothers, Will Dyer, Irvin Dyer, Lee Dyer, sisters, Ruth Arrington, and Mary Lou Collins. He was a farmer and member of Pine Top Baptist Church. Survivors include sisters, Kate Self, Cleveland, Elease Duckworth, Gainesville; brother in law, Doyle Collins, Gainesville; 9 nieces, 7 nephews, 37 great nieces and nephews, 43 great- great nieces and nephews and 10 great- great- great nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Saturday May 10, 2014 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Thomas will officiate. Interment will be at Choestoe Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
