Carl Lester Stringer

Carl Lester Stringer, age 75 of Murrayville, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015. Mr. Stringer was born January 29, 1940 in Murrayville to the late Judge Lester Stringer and Annie Jane Smith Stringer. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church # 2 and was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Sue Stringer. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Howard Foster, Cleveland; Ann and Mitchell Futch, Dahlonega; Brenda and Gary Haynes, Cleveland; grandchildren, LaDana Foster, Cleveland; Madeleine and Matthew Park, Puyallup, WA; Haley Haynes, Cleveland; Landry Haynes, Gainesville; great grandson, Jefferson Park, Puyallup, WA; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Waldo Lunsford, Dahlonega; brother-in-law, Jack Gilstrap, Gainesville; special friend, Bonnell Robinson, Cleveland. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, March 2, 2015 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church # 2. The Rev. Stephen Gerrells will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
