Carlene Alice Himstedt

Carlene Alice Himstedt, age 92, of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Mrs. Himstedt was born on January 10, 1932, in Ringgold, Texas, to the late James Edgar Morris and Edna Mae Brewer Morris. She worked as the manager of a credit union and was a member of Cleveland First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Carlene was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Himstedt, Jr.; and daughter, Freida Bryson. Survivors include her son, Fred Himstedt III and wife, Cherry; son, DJ Himstedt; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:30 P.M. Thursday, January 2, 2024, at Cleveland First Baptist Church. Dr. Phil Weaver and The Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at Cleveland First Baptist Church.
