Carlton Lee Davis Sr.

Mr. Carlton Lee Davis Sr. age 60 of Dahlonega passed away Sunday August 12, 2007 at Northeast Ga Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Davis was born in Lumpkin County the son of the late Fred Davis and Lula Sanford Thompson. He was a sawmiller and attended Lighthouse of Prayer. He was preceded on death by a son, Carlton Lee Davis Jr., daughter, Tammy Elaine Davis and sister, Virginia Beasley. Survivors include his daughters, Carol Davis, Gainesville, Rena Sullens, Murrayville; brothers, Charles Davis, Grady Davis, both of Dahlonega; sisters, Kathy Davis, Vickie Bruce, both of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Amanda Plummer, Timothy Sullens, both of Murrayville, Melissa Kniffin, Johnny Crow, Both of Dahlonega; great grandchildren, Adriana Plummer, Murrayville, Daniel Kniffin, Dylan Kniffin, both of Dahlonega. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday August 14, 2007.at the Lighthouse of Prayer. The Rev. Scott McQueen and the Rev. Dawn McQueen will officiate. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
