Cecelia West

Cecelia “Sue” Esco West, age 87 of Crawford, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019. Mrs. West was born on July 26, 1931, in Lexington, Georgia, to the late Jefferson and Sally Huff Esco. She was a homemaker, an avid bowler, and loved to go fishing. In addition to her parents, Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt West; sons, Ralph West and Clay West; granddaughter, Crystal Carter. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Gail West, Jefferson; daughter and son-in-law, Bertha and James Carter, Alma, Georgia; grandchildren, Jennifer West, AJ and Emily West, Cherry Carter; great-grandchildren, Dorothy McAdams, Autumn West, Clay West, Cayden Music, Carter Music, Eden Epps; sister, Kitty White, Athens; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Gateway Memory Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
