Charles E. Barfield

Mr. Charles Edward Barfield age 85 of Cleveland passed away Wednesday June 14, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.   Mr. Barfield was born on February 29, 1932 to the late James Robert and Missouri Estelle Griffin Barfield. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Barfield was a retired T.V. technician.   He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Phyllis Ledford Barfield, Cleveland; daughter and son in law, Lynda and Timothy Berninger, Cleveland; daughter, Sandra Barfield, Las Vegas; daughter and son in law Donna and Jim Reeves, Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Scott and Beranda Berninger, Cleveland; Heather Berninger, Travis Berninger, and Eric Black, all of Orlando; Katelyn and Allen Gravitt, Dawsonville; Casey Seabolt, Cleveland; great grandchildren, Madison Berninger, Dakota, Berninger, Brayden Berninger, Chloe Berninger, and Alaina Gravitt; sister in law Alice Barfield, Jesup; special nieces, Cheryl Allen and Joyce Taylor; several other nieces, nephews and other relatives.   Graveside services are scheduled for 3P.M. Saturday, June 17, 2017 in Gateway Memory Park. Officiating minister Rev. Chris Anderson.
