Charles Bowman

Charles Wakley Bowman, Sr., age 72, Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Mr. Bowman was born on November 26, 1948, in Hogansville, Georgia, to the late Robert and Mary Bowman. He was a self-employed painter and a member of Harvest Time Church. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brothers, Virgil Bowman, Eddie Bowman, Wayman Bowman, and Mike Bowman; sisters, Debbie Simpson and Brenda Prichett. Survivors include his wife, Betty Bowman, Cleveland; son, Charles Bowman, Jr., Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Tonia and Doug Mosteller, Belmont, NC; grandson, Zachary Mosteller, Belmont, NC; brothers, Dallas Bowman, Bobby Bowman, Alvin Morgan, James Lee Morgan; sisters, Florence Simpson, Lois Bowman, Mary Jean, and Linda; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 18, 2021 at Harvest Time Church. The Rev. Robert Highsmith will officiate.
