Charles (Charlie) William Dyer

Mr. Charles William Dyer, 70 of Cleveland, GA passed away Monday November 10, 2008 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Dyer was born in Union County, the son of the late Roy and Stella Payne Dyer. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jewell Dyer and Bobby Dyer. Mr. Dyer was a farmer, on the Board of Directors of Farm Bureau and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Bonnie Dyer, Cleveland; sons and daughters in law: Ray & Anita Dyer, Larry & Tammy Dyer, all of Cleveland; daughters and sons in law: Fay & Jeff Davis, Shelia & Melvin Helton, all of Clermont; daughter, Lisa Rider, Cleveland; brother, Ronnie Dyer, Blairsville; sister, Diane Denson, Douglasville; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, November 13, 2008 in the chapel of Barrett Funeral Home with the Rev. Kyle Savage officiating. Burial will follow in Heavenly Sunshine Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday and Wednesday 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
