Charles Eugene Eades

Charles Eugene Eades, age 84 of Decatur passed away Wednesday March 10, 2010 at Atlanta Medical Center. Mr. Eades was born in Toccoa, Georgia the son of the late Ira and Elma Eades. He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Eades. Mr. Eades was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and a Veteran of World War 11 serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of White Oak Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Emaline Roberts Eades, Decatur; son, Michael Eades, Carnesville; daughter, Shirley Fleming, Birmingham, AL; sister, Joyce Bull, Charlotte NC.; sister in law, Harriet Etris, Cleveland; brother in law, J.M. Roberts, Cleveland; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday March 13, 2010 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Dave Fortner and the Rev. Mike Irvin will officiate. Burial will be in Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
