Charles Edward Garrett

Mr. Charles Edward Garrett, age 76, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016. Mr. Garrett was born in Toccoa to the late Heard and Irene Williams Garrett. He was owner of Garrett Junk Yard. Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by wife, Barbara Garrett; son, Michael Garrett; son-in-law, Mitchel Owenby; and grandson, Charles Turner. Survivors include daughter, Peggy Owenby, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Scottie Morrison, Cleveland; fiancé, Suzy Veal, Cleveland; grandchildren, Joshua Turner, Jessica Garrett, Brandie Garrett, Christopher Garrett, Tiffany Turner, Taylor Turner, Jacob Turner, Steven Smith, and Kimmie Garrett; and 7 great-grandchildren; and brother, Wade Ridley, Cleveland. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2pm Tuesday, February 16th from Old Nacoochee Baptist Church. The Rev. Dennis Taylor and Rev. Kenneth Taylor will officiate.
