Charles Kennith Holden

Charles Kennith Holden, age 75 of Cleveland, passed away on May 14th, 2026.

Kennith was born on July 30th, 1950, in Fannin County, to the late Roy and Myrtle Holden. He was employed by the White County Board of Education for 47 years with an additional 10 years with the Helen Post Office, and then 5 years with the Cleveland Post Office. In addition to his parents, Kennith is preceded in death by his beloved wife Martha Holden, and his three brothers, Donnie Ware, James Gray, and Danny Ware.

He is survived by his daughters, Jody Taylor of Waynesville, NC, and Jessica Jones (Don) of Cleveland; grandchildren, Crate and Kelsey Taylor of Franklin, Ohio, Collin and Lindsey Taylor of Demorest, Paul Jones and Silas Jones, of Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Layla Mae Taylor, Maisie Ann Taylor, and Luella LeAnne Taylor; sister; Tammy Ware; his sister and brother- in-law, Kathy and Ed Estes; and his brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Beth Ware.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, May 18th, 2026, at 2:00 P.M in the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. Sunday, May 17th, 2026, at the funeral home. The Rev. Frank Wyatt, Rev. Crate Taylor and Rev. Collin Taylor will officiate. Interment will follow at Gateway Memory Park.
