Charles Robert Mitchell

Charles Robert Mitchell, age 69 of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Mitchell was born February 19, 1943 in Union County to the late Ed Mitchell and Etta Lee Young. He was the owner of Mitchell Rail Fence and was a Deacon at Zion Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Jean Mitchell, Cleveland; son, Timothy Mitchell, Cleveland; sons and daughters, Eddie and Erica Mitchell, Cleveland; Kenny and Tonya Mitchell, Cleveland; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Danny White, Blairsville; Betty and Joe Pontes, Cleveland; Misty and Mark Bailey, Cleveland; sisters, Opal Rush, Blairsville; Mildred Grizzle, Gainesville; 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephew and a host of Church family and friends also survive. Funeral services are scheduled for 5:00 PM Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from Zion Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Terry Poole will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
