Charles M. Sorrow

Charles M. Sorrow age 88, of Simpsonville SC formerly of Cleveland passed away Wednesday December 9, 2015. Mr. Sorrow was born in Atlanta Georgia the son of the late Joseph Stewart and Willie Ester James Sorrow. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Ann Sorrow and brother, James Sorrow. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Mablevale United Methodist Church. Survivors include his daughters, Peggy Johnson, Lula, Patricia Ziemann, Simpsonville, SC., Pamela Porter, Demorest; son, C. David Sorrow, Murrayville; sister in law, Louise Glover, Smyrma; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday December 14, 2015 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Ross Sparks will officiate. Entombment will be at Yonah View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 12-2 pm Monday at the funeral home.
